Requirements

The requirements for applying to the CECAD Graduate School is a Master of Science or an equivalent degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or another relevant subject. Alternatively, we also accept applicants with a degree in medicine if they can prove that they have sufficient research experience in a field which is relevant to CECAD’s work. In order to be admitted to the selection procedure, all applicants must prove that they have adequate knowledge of English.

Selection Procedure

CECAD chooses the applicants based on their academic qualification, their motivation and the references which they have supplied. Applicants who are shortlisted are invited to a selection workshop in Cologne. This workshop is a chance for us to get to know you, and vice versa. CECAD project leaders will be available for interviews and you will have the opportunity to give a short presentation of your current scientific work and to meet further CECAD members.
